About Us

Vox Atra translates to “The Dark Voice”
A whisper in the shadows, a spell in the silence, a page turning. At Vox Atra Press, we handcraft books for witches, mystics, and spiritual iconoclasts who strive for more than just meaning in their lives, but also magic.

Planners, journals, activity books, spell logs, occult guides, and dark speculative fiction—stuffed to the gills with esoteric symbolism, chic design, and a wink from the void. We’re here for the solitary witch who wants a place to keep track of their lunar rituals, the Left Hand Path seeker on a journey to gnosis of their own devising, the unrepentant nerd who can’t get enough of ancient and occult symbology, and the slightly-less-secret witch that everyone just assumes is just REALLY into organizing. Some of our books are practical. Some of them are devotional. Some are as weird as we are, and we like it that way. But all of them are made to be used, lived in, and loved.

The Creator
Vox Atra Press was founded by Rae Vanth: a Luciferian witch, lifelong reader, occult nerd, and an unapologetically strange human. With experience in the mystical, the literary, and the customer service trenches, Rae has a distinct eye for making spiritual tools actually useful in the real world, while also being a joy to hold. Sometimes they write about demons. Sometimes they write about goddesses. Sometimes they write about space-traveling burlesque cults in retrofuturist drag (yes, seriously). No matter the genre, the mission is the same: honor sovereignty, deepen insight, and help others find the sacred on their own terms.

Our Vision
We want to publish books that spark transformation, reclaim ritual, and delight the witchy soul. We want to build a space where the mystical and the meaningful collide—and where solitude, sovereignty, and shadow are treated not as defects, but as gifts. And yes, we want to make books so beautiful you’ll probably cry a little when you write in them.
